Holy Week and Easter worship

Palm Sunday, April 14th, 10:15am

We'll shout "Hosanna in the Highest!," wave palm branches, and welcome Jesus into Jerusalem in this celebratory service of traditional worship.

Maundy Thursday Worship with Communion and Handwashing, April 18th, 7:30pm

The word 'maundy' comes from the Latin "mandatum," meaning "command." On the night of the Last Supper Jesus washes his disciples feet and gives them a new commandment: "love one another." This celebratively somber service includes Communion and Handwashing.

Worship

Sundays, 10:15am, All Ages

We are a comfortable, come as you are congregation. The participation of children and youth is celebrated. Our worship includes congregational singing, scripture readings, a sermon, and prayers to focus our minds and hearts on God, and we celebrate the Sacrament of Communion every first Sunday of the month. Everyone is welcome at the Communion Table.

The Senior Choir leads our singing and offers inspiring anthems, and the Joyful Noise Bell Choir plays once a month. We often hear the sound of piano, organ, and an occasional guitar in worship, and members of all ages are encouraged to share their musical gifts in worship.

Children and youth leave the Sanctuary and go to Church School at 10:30am. Young children—infants through age two—are invited to join volunteers upstairs in the day care room at that time or stay in worship with their parents. Children who attend Church School will join their families in the Fellowship Hall after worship.

You are invited to greet Pastor Sarah, a deacon, and our liturgist after worship and then join us in the Fellowship Hall for Coffee Hour. Light refreshments are served during this beloved time of fellowship.
