    Pastor

    Sarah grew up in Franklin, Tennessee, and graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, and Union Theological Seminary in NYC.  At Union she fell in love with creative ministry and her husband, Brian!  Prior to coming to our church, Pastor Sarah was the Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Families at a church in Virginia.  She also led the PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteer Program in Washington DC.

  • Joanne Willans

    Director of Youth Ministries and Handbell Choir

    As Director of Youth Ministries Joanne oversees all the youth programs of the Church.  Joanne also has served as Joyful Noise Handbell Choir Director for over 25 years along with several impromptu youth choirs.  She completed her music studies at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and at West Minster Choir College.  She then continued her education at The College of Saint Elizabeth where she doubled in Religious Education and Youth/Young Adult Ministry.  Prior to her tenure at FPCW Joanne was an instrumental music teacher in the Hanover Township Public Schools.  Joanne and her husband Steve live in Whippany with their four children.

  • Christie Ventura

    Choir Director and Organist

    Christie directs our choir, leads our music in worship, and encourages musicians of all ages to share their gifts in worship. A native New Jerseyan, Christie holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from William Paterson University with a concentration in classical piano. Before joining us Christie served as the Director of Music at a church in Bloomfield. In addition to performing and serving in ministry, Christie has been teaching piano and voice lessons since 2005 and currently is the owner and lead teacher for Bravo Music Academy in Denville, NJ.

  • Denise Lee

    Church Secretary

    Denise administers the Church office and manages church communications, publications, membership information, and record-keeping.  A native of Whippany, Denise worked as an accountant prior to joining the church staff over 15 years ago. She can be reached at the church office Monday through Thursday in the mornings.

  • Elders

    Elected Elders form the Session which leads the spiritual, administrative, and financial life of our church. The Session discerns our mission and guides us in living it out.

    Elected Deacons form the Board of Deacons which leads our church in caring ministries--caring for the sick, elderly, and grieving through meals, transportation, and visitation, and providing for those in need through our Food Pantry and a monthly meal for the guests of the Homeless Solutions shelter in Morristown.
