A note from our pastor

Welcome, Visitor…

Wherever you are on your life journey, we pray that you will find a place of welcome and belonging in the church of Jesus Christ, and we invite you to come worship with us, on Sunday mornings at 10:15.

If you’ve ever driven along Route 10 West through Hanover Township, you’ve probably noticed the historic white church with bright red doors, just before the intersection of Whippany Road, and the Railway Museum.  With a sanctuary that dates from 1834, and a congregation that brings all age groups together, we are a community blending time-honored tradition with youthful energies and fresh perspectives. As a church family, we nurture and support a very active Sunday school, children’s choir, and youth program. We are blessed with the musical gifts of our adult choir, handbell choir, individual instrumentalists, and praise team.  Our worship celebrates the redeeming love and healing grace of God as we know it in the living Spirit of Christ. We learn, serve, fellowship, and break bread together… at Wednesday morning Bible study, at evening meetings of women’s circles and a Saturday morning men’s breakfast group, at fellowship hour after church , Youth Group spaghetti dinners and a monthly dinner prepared for Homeless Solutions. We emphasize team work as we encourage one another to claim and share the gifts God has given us for the sake of the common good and especially for reaching out to those in need. A food pantry run by the Deacons is a major part of our outreach to the larger community.

We hope that browsing this website will introduce you to our church life. For more information, we invite you to call or email us. And remember, you have an open invitation to come worship in our church home which we pray will be a house of welcome for you.

May the blessings of God, the strengthening presence of the Holy Spirit, and the peace of Christ be with you.
