Pastor - Sarah Cairatti
Sarah comes to Whippany First Presbyterian Church from Northern Virginia, where she joyfully served Clifton Presbyterian Church for the last four years as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Families. She graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, and Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. At Union, she fell in love with creative ministry and met her husband Brian. In addition to her service in congregational ministry, Sarah led the PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteer program in Washington DC as the founding site coordinator, walking beside young adults as they did a year of service and discerned their vocational plans. She grew up in Franklin, Tennessee with her sister Rachel and was raised by a Presbyterian Elder (Dad) and Deacon (Mom).
Director of Youth Ministries & Handbell Director - Joanne Joy Willans
Joanne grew up in Whippany and worked as an Instrumental Music teacher in the Hanover Township Schools before committing her time to the youth ministry of the church. She completed her music studies at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and continued her education at The College of Saint Elizabeth where she doubled in Religious Education and Youth/Young Adult Ministry. As Director of Youth Ministries Joanne oversees all the youth programs of the church from Sunday morning Church School to our active Youth Groups and Mission Teams.
As Handbell Director Joanne studied at Westminster Choir College and has enjoyed directing the Joyful Noise Handbell Choir along with several impromtu youth choirs over the years.

Choir Director and Organist - Francesco Santelli
Francesco completed studies at the Juilliard School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music. Not only is he an accomplished musician on the organ and piano, Francesco is a composer and a conductor. He is the Composer in Residence and conductor with the Assisi Music Festival in Italy. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Garden State Opera here in New Jersey.
Church Secretary - Denise Lee
Denise grew up in Whippany. She worked as an accountant for 11 years before joining the church staff over 14 years ago. As church secretary, Denise administers the office and manages church communications, publications, membership information, and record-keeping. She can be reached at the church office Monday through Thursday in the mornings.
